Our family of Precision Pressure Transducers (PPT) combines proven silicon sensor technology with microprocessor-based signal conditioning to provide an extremely powerful, accurate and stable pressure transducer.
The ability to provide high accuracy (0.05%FS) over the wide temperature range from -40 to 85°C, coupled with many software features and a compact rugged design, makes our precision pressure transducers and barometers the most versatile and cost-effective smart pressure transducer available on the market today.
Our PPTs have both RS232 or RS485 serial digital and 0-5 volt analog outputs to allow the transducer to easily retrofit to analog systems.
Honeywell's Precision Pressure Transducers are also available in a ruggedized model (PPTR), an explosion-proof model (PPTE), and a submersible model (PPTRS) for use in avionics, meteorological, industrial and submersible applications.
Honeywell's Precision Pressure Transducer Ruggedized (PPTR) utilizes the same silicon sensor technology and is designed with an isolation diaphragm offering a pressure sensing solution for liquid and gaseous media. Its hermetically sealed, stainless steel construction eliminates humidity effects and provides excellent emission and immunity protection and provides accuracy of ±0.10% FS typical over -40 to 85°C.
Honeywell's Precision Pressure Transducer Explosion Proof Model (PPTE) is an excellent choice for applications where protection in hazardous locations is critical. The PPTE has been tested and approved by FM Approvals and CSA International.
Honeywell's Precision Pressure Transducer Ruggedized Submersible Model (PPTRS) is the option for harsh environments of liquid measurements. It provides accuracy of ±0.07% FS maximum over the temperature range of -4 to 60°C. The PPTRS comes paired with a SEA CON® electrical connector and is suitable for all media compatible with 316 stainless steel.
Honeywell’s LG1237 Smart Pressure Transducer is a high performance absolute pressure transducer with accuracy from ±0.05% FS maximum over -55 to 125°C. Designed to provide precise and stable pressure measurements, the LG1237 is extremely stable with less than ±0.010% FS per year and has a mean-time-between-failure (MTBF) of over 200K hours in an aircraft uninhibited fighter (AUF) environment. The LG1237 lowers maintenance costs with a built-in test that verifies functionality, as well as, simplifies system design with no additional signal compensation required. Standard product offerings include digital interface configurations TTL, RS485, and RS422, and absolute pressure ranges of 20, 50, 150, 750, and 1000 psia.
The Honeywell Precision Barometer (HPB) offers outstanding value to instrument builders requiring accurate (±0.4 hPa maximum over -40 to 85°C) and stable barometric measurements in real-world conditions. The HPB uses proven silicon sensor technology with microprocessor-based signal compensation, eliminating the need to insulate or temperature-regulate the barometer.
Precision Barometer for Altimeter Applications (HPA) is used in altimeter applications and provides high accuracy ±0.03% FS maximum over -40 to 85°C absolute pressure reading in digital form. The first-time user will be able to use the HPA within minutes, yet capability exists to configure the HPA for optimum performance for aerospace and airborne applications. The HPA is available in RS232, RS485, and TTL outputs.
Honeywell’s Integrated Pressure Transducer (IPT) provides high accuracy pressure data in an industry standard SPI digital format. The IPT is small and lightweight and can be easily integrated into a wide variety of applications that require high performance in a small package. Applying the coefficients stored in the on-board EEPROM to the normalized IPT pressure and temperature output yields highly accurate and stable pressure readings over the -40 to 85°C compensated temperature range. The IPT is available in absolute, gauge and differential versions with full scale ranges from 1 to 50 psi.
Pressure Transducer Remote Digital Display Accessory
The Remote Digital Display RDD100 is a convenient, compact and inexpensive accessory for displaying the output from Honeywell's Precision Pressure Transducers. The RDD100 accepts RS232 output directly from the PPT, PPTR, or HPB transducer at distances up to 50 feet (15m). Any of the PPT's 14 factory-set pressure units or a user-specified unit can be displayed on the six digit LED and connects to PLC or PC through a 9-pin D style cable and connector.
